If it breaks
Play Store Termux? Uninstall it. Install Termux and Termux:API from F-Droid only. Same store for both.
Command not found? The package is not installed, or the name is wrong. Check spelling. Then pkg install that tool.
Stage 2
A dark screen is normal.
Termux gives your phone a terminal. That is a place where you type commands instead of tapping icons. It looks old. Programmers talk to the computer this way. Termux:API is the helper that lets that little computer use battery, clipboard, and other phone features.

Install both from F-Droid
Search and install Termux and Termux:API. Open Termux:API one time. Grant clipboard permission at least. Camera and location can wait.
You need two pieces later for the helper to work: the Termux:API app, and the termux-api package inside Termux. They work as a pair.
